Preflight medical screening

  • Coordinating medical screenings for astronaut crew and early enough in the mission planning to adjust for screening results.

  • Using the data to plan pre-flight conditioning programs.

Preflight pre-habilitation

  • Preflight conditioning to create targeted and efficient inflight countermeasures and preserve function throughout flight.

  • Characterizing astronauts’ functional pre-flight baseline functional capacity and identifying problem areas to be accounted for in later programming.

  • Providing fully customizable pre-habilitation services tailored to the unique needs, goals and medical profiles of each commercial astronaut. Whether training in-person or remotely, we offer flexible, scalable solutions that integrate with the mission timeline and operational constraints, ensuring astronauts launch in peak condition and return ready to recover.

Inflight medical support

  • Offering real-time in-flight medical support through experienced space operations physicians who provide continuous monitoring and consultation while astronauts are in transit or on station.

  • Team interface directly with mission control, offering rapid clinical decision-making, triage guidance, and medical oversight tailored to the mission profile and crew capabilities.

  • Ensuring expert medical support is always within reach, whether that’s during launch, docking, orbital operations or extended station stays—enhancing crew safety, mission continuity and peace of mind.

Postflight rehab

  • Decrement characterization is used during postflight reassessment to build an individualized rehabilitation plan for each astronaut.

  • Follow through of each astronaut to completion of rehab and regaining of baseline functional capacity.

Postflight assessment and clearance

  • Once astronauts have cleared rehab milestones, we can safely clear them to return to activities like driving or sport.
