Dr. Lucas Brane
Founder
Founder and CEO of Minerva Medical Group, Dr. Brane built Minerva to deliver medical care purpose-built for commercial spaceflight, industrial operations, and remote environments that conventional medicine was never designed to serve. A U.S. Army Ranger and OIF veteran, his approach to leadership and mission-critical decision-making was forged before medical school and refined through more than two decades of operational experience. He is a space medicine physician with specialized training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Chief Medical Officer of Minerva Medical Group, Dr. Lowery operates at the intersection of emergency medicine, aerospace innovation, and extreme environment operations. A physician-scientist with an MD/PhD and advanced training in bioastronautics, he has supported medical operations across commercial human spaceflight programs, trained NASA astronauts in emergency care, and deployed as a medical team leader under FEMA's National Urban Search and Rescue Response System. His work at Minerva focuses on building scalable operational healthcare systems for frontier environments.
